Seriously. There is…
On one of my endless searches, surf and notions, I found myself hunting about for gratitude journals. A gratitude journal is a simply a diary of things for which one is grateful.
Oprah had a show about gratitude journals and her guest Michael Losier said this ” If you want to start attracting positive things into your life, there is one small thing you should do every day—show your gratitude, appreciation and love for the people and things around you.”
Think the Law of Attraction is rubbish? Well… An article in the New York Times offered up some scientific research about gratitude as well. Turns out that cultivating an “attitude of gratitude” has been linked to better health, sounder sleep, less anxiety and depression, higher long-term satisfaction with life and kinder behavior toward others, including romantic partners. A new study shows that feeling grateful makes people less likely to turn aggressive when provoked.
The picture above is actually a screen shot of a page that lists the top 100 Gratitude apps for iOS. When I had an Android, the APP I used was called ATTITUDES OF GRATITUDE and I really liked it. It’s one of about a zillion apps available at the Play Store, to help us jot down moments in our lives we are grateful.
Life is good. Thank you.
