I use a Mantra for concentration in meditation or when I want to up my daily consciousness in a certain area. Some believe a mantra has the power to transform lives. Mantras are words and whatever your beliefs are, you should at least consider how powerful words have been known to be.
There are the days where I have to hyper FOCUS on what’s good. On those days, I decide on what I need and how I will get it. Today, I decided on a mantra. The dictionary defines a mantra as: a sound, word, or phrase that is repeated by someone who is praying or meditating or a word or phrase that is repeated often or that expresses someone’s basic beliefs.
In The Four Agreements, Don Ruiz Miguel says that the first of the agreements, “Be Impeccable with Your Word”, is the most profound and transformational. He encourages the conscious use of words to create the life we want. Since I am re-reading his book, I have decided to one, start writing again and two, REALLY try to pay attention to my words and use mantras.
I read that the spiritual value of a mantra comes when it is audible, visible, or present in thought. So,
here is my #love #mantra for the day. #inspirational.
