As the year ends many of us are considering how we are going to make 2019 as or more productive, fulfilling and prosperous than 2018. Great things usually start out with a plan and for me, making plans means starting a new planner.
I live in Los Angeles and have 2 teens that still live under my roof. I really like the area we live in. It’s convenient but it’s also EXPENSIVE. At some point I recognized that my kids needed privacy but I just couldn’t justify moving from our rent controlled apartment into a bigger place. So, I started looking up ways to use the space I have more wisely.
Our gifts or talents are not always recognized right away. We are all unique and sometimes, we are in circumstances that don’t allow our talents to shine. But if we pay attention, we can see how over the years, we are given the chance to develop our gifts and if we allow ourselves the chance to use them, we can really build an amazing life. Stress is simply the body’s response to changes when under pressure. According to the findings in a study by the American Psychological Association, Latinos reported the highest stress across four major sources of stress including money, employment, family responsibilities and health concerns.
