A few of the great things about these vids are:
- Short (under 20 minutes, most are under 15)
- Good variety of easy/challenge
- Good full body (she focuses on on body part per video)
- She is easy to understand and adorable…
I had really dropped off the planet as far as working out. In this post about Walking Away the Pounds, I mention how important it is to find a work out you can win (or feel successful in) and this series was easy enough for me to jump back in and feel great. I highly recommend it as a way to kick start a movement routine.
I wrote this blog post back in 2011.
It is based on such a powerful premise that I recorded the reading on Soundcloud AND made a Youtube video.
The combination of elements I lay out in this post are so powerful, that when used together, ANYTHING is possible. Have a listen and KNOW that if you commit, you will reap results. Guaranteed.
PLEASE this theory to the test. Peace and blessings.
I had the chance to interview the author of one of my favorite books, The Self Health Revolution. This book is under 200 pages, filled with pictures, tips and tricks and to me, more than a book. This is a potential life changing vehicle. I have given this book to friends, family and clients. I keep a copy in my kitchen. In this audio clip, J. Michael Zenn generously shares some of his wisdom with us.
Whole Foods Market CEO and Founder “Enthusiastically” Endorses “The Self Health Revolution.” A short, powerful little book, The Self Health Revolution, surprisingly produces a jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, awe-inspiring, laugh-out-loud read. The author, J. Michael Zenn, convincingly persuades the reader they must seize control of their health now (Self Health) by taking a few, utterly-simple, 15-minute steps to loose weight, escape pain, ward off disease and recapture the energy lost in their youth.
On-the-side Marketing Tip: It’s always a great idea to repurpose content if you can. Here I decided to take the audio that I originally recorded for a live call and saved as an audio file on Soundcloud and create a Youtube video.

Is it possible that nearly 3,500 years
ago, Moses was given the secret for attracting everything you’ve ever
desired? The Moses Code was first used to create some of the greatest
miracles in the history of the world, but then it was hidden away, and
only the highest initiates were allowed to practice it. In this book, James F. Twyman reveals
the Code for the first time, showing how it can be used to create
miracles in your life . . . and in the world. By practicing the
principles presented within these pages, you’ll discover how you can
integrate the most powerful manifestation tool in the history of the
world into your own life.
is the true function and practice of the Law of Attraction. You may have
been told that this Law is all about “getting” the things you
want—things that you think will make your life more satisfying. But what
if that’s just the first step, and cracking the Moses Code depends more
on what you’re willing to “give” rather than “get.” That would mean
that you have the power to create miracles in your life right now! It
would also mean that you have the ability, even the responsibility, to
use that power for more than just attracting money, a better car, or the
perfect relationship. You’re here to use the power of Divinity itself
to create a world based on the laws of compassion and peace. That’s the
task that lies before us.
That is not to say I am not a consumer of media, it’s just that I watch very specific things. Mostly, I listen. I usually will play something on my phone while I drive, or walk, or drift off to sleep.

I’m complex but not complicated. I love life, people, spirit, nature and my experience on the planet so far. I also love connection. Online or off. I make my living in social media and I feel lucky to do so. That’s me… WHO ARE YOU?
Social Media Tip:
I made th onis video in seconds using Auphonic.
I had previously created the audio and Auphonic was able to easily access the source file on Soundcloud and export to Youtube. This is an easy to use multimedia app and an AWESOME tool for podcasters.
I really enjoy Les Brown’s messages. Here are five provocative quotes plus a video to motivate you to believe you can live your best life!
- Give your dream a chance to live!! Nurture it daily with the seeds of determination, inspiration, drive, and creativity. Feed it with passion, faith, patience, and positive expectation. Allow it to blossom by surrounding yourself with people who are doing things with their lives, and who believe in working hard to make things happen.
- Be willing to go all out, in pursuit of your dream. Ultimately it will pay off. You are more powerful than you think you are. Go for it.
- Other people’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.
- Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.
- Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.
Now check out this little flick by Les and ask yourself if you are hungry enough. If you are, then you are READY to be a GOAL DIGGER!
I found this video on Youtube and was inspired to share.
There are any number of exercises that a person can do to begin getting into shape and strengthening their heart, but walking is one of the easiest and offers a great deal of benefit. After the birth of my second child, I hit the baby blues. I had gained sixty pounds and she was under six. Do the math.
I had never been overweight in my life and what was worse, I was unmotivated. My husbands incessant asking about my workout did not help to motivate me, in fact because I was such an emotional wreck, it just served as a developmental tool for my insecurity. He was a fitness trainer with gobs of knowledge about the physiology of the human form. He knew that getting blood circulating through the body was an important factor in overcoming even emotional conditions. I just grew more and more convinced he found me disgusting. On a rare day, I found myself out and about with my mom. At a local drug store I found a series of videos called “Walk Away the Pounds” by Leslie Sansone. They were on super sale and for some reason I bought them. I had been a dancer and stayed in relatively good shape but now I was too embarrassed to go to the gym or class. These videos were perfect. They were so easy that I was victorious in completeting the entire first video my first try. VICTORY is an important word in ANY health plan. The first walk lasted maybe 10 minutes but the FEELING of victory was exactly what I needed to get on the road to recovery.
When my good friend noticed that I was beginning to feel better, she said “Oh Angel! It’s so good that you were able to get your Qi moving!” What is Qi? Qi is the life-force or energy in the world. The fundamental insight of qigong and Chinese Medicine is that balanced and free-flowing qi results in health; while stagnant or imbalanced qi leads to disease. In China, the understanding of qi is inherent in the very language. For instance: The literal translation of the Chinese character meaning “health” is “original qi.” The literal translation of the character for “vitality” is “high quality qi.” The literal translation of the character meaning “friendly” is “peaceful qi.” Oh yes, my Qi moved and for me walking was not only energizing it was therapeutic.
An activity that almost anyone can do regardless of age or size.
One of the best ways to begin an exercise plan.
Can be done alone or as a group. Many communities have organized walks through their parks or nature preserves.
An activity with low risk of injury comfortable, supportive athletic shoes are worn and don’t overdo it.
I eventually went on to begin taking longer and longer walks. I discovered walking outside with friends and encouraging their health and weight loss as well. I walked with my stroller through my second child’s toddler years and then through my third pregnancy. I still walk. The most important thing for me was, that I got started.
This week, calculate the amount of walking you do. What state of being are you in? Are you rushing to catch a bus for work? Leisurely strolling? Not walking at all? Do an assessment set an intention to up your walking game.
